Competition Time!

Competition Alert!

Well, I haven't written on my blog for a while!  The business has grown quite substantially since I last posted, and I never seem to find the time to get on here.  Facebook seems to have taken over as a way of promoting the business, although this is slipping lately too.

However, as a huge thank you to all my fans on facebook, I have THREE fantastic cake stands to give away courtesy of Wedding Acrylics.

Wedding Acrylics are based just north of Cardiff, and produce a very high quality range of cupcake stands, as well as lots of other cake goodies.  If you haven't checked out their website, then you must - they sell loads of other products besides cupcake stands. They even run sugarcraft workshops.

All you have to do to enter is answer a question about one of my cakes.  There is a pig celebration cake lurking in the photo gallery on my facebook page, made for Elle who was 10.  Just answer the following question, emailing your answer to amanda@cleverlittlecupcake.co.uk, stating "2012 Competition" in the subject bar.

Q:  What colour is the balloon?

There will be three names drawn at random, each winning a great little cupcake stand.

The competition will be open until the 2nd of January, so plenty of time to get your entries in!  Best of luck!

There are three stands to choose from - the winner will get the choice of these three:

1)  Hot Pink Petal Stand - three tiers (Colour 004)

2)  Baby Pink Round Stand - 3 Tier (colour 007)

3)  White Heart Shaped Stand - 3 Tier (colour 003)

The runner-up will get the next choice, and the third place will have the remaining stand.

The very best of luck!

Award Winning Cupcakes!

This weekend, we have been awarded 2nd place in the prestigious Fair Cake's christmas cupcake competition!  We entered our cakes on a whim - these cakes were an actual order for a children's party.  We never thought that we could ever win, since we haven't been up and running for very long.

Here are the cupcakes:

We are so overwhelmed, and over the moon!

Up, up and away!!

Well, the website is well and truly up and running!  How exciting is that?!!  Which means that I now have to market myself as soon as possible.

I have leaflets, so look out for one dropping through your door very soon!

Thanks to everyone who has supported me so far, especially to my family who must be so fed up of the constant cupcake talk and future ideas.

If you have time, please visit the website:
